Don’t you hear the uproar of your enemies?

Perhaps we would never pray for another’s death, but that is what we find in this psalm. The psalms are full of emotion and passion. We can rest in knowing that we don’t have to hold back with God. We can go to him with all of ourselves, even if we aren’t sure if what we feel is appropriate. We don’t have to hide, but can cry out from the depths of our suffering and emotion.
